Winding southwesterly out of town past Bartlett farm, the Hummock Pond Road follows the longest pond on the island — ultimately meeting the shore at Cisco Beach.
On its west side, the pond adjoins the largest conservation area on the island providing the settlement to the east a breathtaking view. The landscape here is one of woods and moors leading to grassy dunes at the beach.
Facing the open Atlantic, Cisco beach provides great surfing, swimming and sunning. Bartlett Farm, Cisco Brewery, the Nantucket Vineyard and East Coast Seafood are all nearby and worthwhile places to visit.
