There are two waterfront views in Miacomet: the pond and the Atlantic shore.

Miacomet Pond stretches serenely along the main road here and meets the beach at the south shore. Beach-goers can position themselves on the stretch of sand between the pond and the surf and divide their time between the two. The sandy-bottomed pond is great for small children.

Along the pond, the landscape is woodsy. As the land stretches toward the beach, it flattens to simple grasslands with dirt roads winding through dunes. On the west side of the pond is "Ladies Beach." Hundreds of acres of conservation land abut the beach. Miacomet Golf Course is close by and open to the public.
